One of the first places we visited in Toronto was the Bata Shoe Museum. The building itself is designed to look like an open shoe box, which is a pretty good hint at what’s waiting inside.
The Bata Shoe Museum is basically a giant, very stylish time machine for feet. It’s where you go to see how humans have been showing off, surviving, working, partying, praying, and playing — all told through what they put on their toes.
